A Season of Memories

A Season of Memories is a series of four books highlighting childhood memories from each of the four seasons. 

People with dementia often have difficulty with short-term memory, but many of their long-term memories are intact. As your loved one is reminded of the activities of childhood, these books may inspire them to talk about their own childhood or the joy they experienced raising their own children.

The childhood memories included in this book are simple ones that will be familiar to all seniors, such as flying a kite, building a snowman, turning a cartwheel, and climbing a tree. Each “memory” is a short, uplifting story of a few sentences in large-print text illustrated by a full-page, full-color photo.
