My dad loves this book
I have an elderly father with dementia. I'm lucky that he remembers my name some days. I gave him this book for Father's Day along with some other books to read and stimulate his mind. My dad is religious and he's gone to church his entire life and can't go sing like he used to. He immediately picked up the Picture Book of Hymns and began singing the songs. I almost began crying. It's just the right size. My dad loves it.
These beautifully illustrated books are perfect for people with Alzheimer's/other dementias
I ordered Sunny Streets' "Birds" and "National Parks" books for my brother-in-law whose diagnosis is "Dementia with Lewy Bodies." He wasn't interested in the books at first, but now, some months later, he really enjoys looking through them and discussing what he sees in the books and what he knows about the subjects with us or a caregiver. The photos are large, lifelike and colorful. He takes great pleasure in looking through these wonderfully illustrated books. Highly recommend.
My Mom loves these books
My Mother who is 86 and has dementia loves these books. She is enjoying looking at them for hours. Thank you to the people who made these books. I love seeing my Mom so happy.

Absolutely love these books. My mom has Alzheimer's and she loves looking at them and it makes her more responsive to talking. My kids enjoy looking and interacting with them along with my mom.

My mother has memory issues, and she can look at this book over and over again. It really captivates her, and the pictures are clear and colorful. A plus when looking for something to keep her mind occupied. Plus, she has been to most of the places in the book, so when she says "I've been there" it's true!!! LOVE THIS SHORT BOOK
Got this for my mother and she absolutely loved it. She loves hymns and the print was large enough for her to see it. Win..win!
Great book for loved ones suffering from dementia
My Mom who is 95 and suffers from dementia, has always loved butterflies. When I showed her this book, it was amazing, she was able to engage in an enjoyable and coherent conversation with me.
I bought this for a senior who is in a home and wanted to sail at one time. He absolutely loved it. Nothing to try and read and the photos are beautiful. Very happy.
Purchased for a dementia patient. He enjoys them thoroughly! I started with the birds book and came back for several more because it was such a success!
